FLOODCASTOR FLOOD BARRIERS

Protect with simplicity!

Instructions for use of FloodCastor barriers

  1. Quick and easy installation:
  • Place the barriers from left to right...
  1. Adaptability to terrain:
  • Use the curves to adapt to the area to be delimited.
  1. Space saving:
  • Easily stack them on top of each other.
  1. Zero complications:
  • They are completely maintenance free .

It couldn't be easier!

EXAMPLE FOR CALCULATING HOW MANY BARRIERS YOU NEED:

  1. Convert 100 meters to centimeters (example) :
    100 meters = 100×100=10,000cm
  2. Divide 10,000 cm by the size of each barrier (71 cm) :
  3. Round up because you can't use a barrier fraction:
    141 barriers.

So, you need 141 71cm barriers to cover 100 meters.

When the area you need to cover has curves, the basic calculation formula remains the same, but you must consider the length of the contour of the curved shape instead of just a straight line.

Steps to follow:

  1. Measure the length of the curved contour :
If you have a curved shape (for example, a bend in a driveway or a corner), you should measure the entire length of the curved outline. This measurement can be harder to obtain if you don't have an accurate measuring tool, but you can use a piece of string or a flexible tape measure to measure along the curve.
  2. Convert length to centimeters :
As before, convert the total curved length from meters to centimeters by multiplying by 100.
  3. Apply the formula :
Divide the length of the curved outline (in centimeters) by the length of each barrier (71 cm):

Round up :
As before, round up to the nearest whole number because you can't use barrier fractions.
